Rudrapur: Hindustan’s Himalaya Bachao campaign entered its second day with a series of pledge events across 10 locations in Rudrapur district. A total of 6,204 students from school, college, and institutional settings pledged to protect the Himalayas’ environment. At the College of Management Technology in Rudrapur, principal Prem Prakash administered the pledge to 100 students. In Kashipur, 182 students joined the pledge drive; in Khatima, 672; Sitarganj, 840; Dineshpur, 1,450; Kichha, 750; Gularbhoj, 190; Jasipur, 300; and Bajpur events contributed 1,720 pledges across 2 locations. Across 5 days, the district tally of pledging participants reached 21,594.
