Here is a simple look at how a report can travel from information-gathering to a published Khatima News story—and where AI fits in.

Information comes in
News reaches us through online research, public information and reporters. A report may also include documents, photographs or a public social post when available.

A readable story is prepared
The newsroom gives the relevant material to an AI writing tool to organize and explain it in our prescribed article format. Editors review the draft and its source material before publication.

Images are identified clearly
When a suitable news photograph is not available, we may generate an illustrative image with AI for some stories. Such images are labelled as AI-generated; they are illustrations, not documentary photographs of the actual event.

Original context may be embedded
If a relevant original X post is available, we may embed it in the article so readers can see the post in its original context. The embedded post remains subject to X availability and terms.
