KHATIMA NEWS
About Khatima News
Khatima News is an independent Hindi and English digital newsroom created to keep people in Khatima and across Uttarakhand informed about the events that shape everyday life.
Local first
From Khatima and nearby communities to Udham Singh Nagar and other parts of Uttarakhand, we bring local developments, public issues, civic updates and stories that matter to residents into one place.
Beyond the neighbourhood
Readers can also follow important developments from across India and the world, alongside useful coverage of public services, education, jobs, government schemes, business, technology and culture.
Hindi and English
We publish in both Hindi and English so more readers can follow the same important developments in the language they prefer. Each edition is prepared for its readers and aims to keep names, dates and key facts clear.
Why we are here
News helps people understand what is changing around them and make informed decisions. We started Khatima News to make timely, accessible reporting available to our community and help readers stay connected with their town, state and wider world.
Our approach
News may come to us through reporting, public information and online research. Our team uses editorial review and digital tools, including AI-assisted writing, to organize information into a readable format. Technology supports our work; it does not remove our responsibility to correct mistakes and listen to readers.
