Dehradun
The BJP has appointed Ram Madhav as its new Uttarakhand in-charge, with Bansuri Swaraj among 2 co-in-charges, according to reports dated 23 September 2026. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed the organisational changes in Dehradun, saying the party has recently reconstituted its organisation and appointed a new national president.
Dehradun
Around 60 BJP workers from the Chakrata assembly area returned from the party’s Dehradun state office on Monday without joining. The proposed induction followed a protest over alleged neglect of workers in development schemes, while minister Khajan Das opposed the programme after learning that the group had arrived.
Champawat
BJP workers held a demonstration at Champawat Motor Station on Monday, protesting what they described as an objectionable remark by Rahul Gandhi. Led by district president Govind Samant, the protesters demanded an apology from Gandhi and the Congress party, while accusing them of targeting the Modi government’s achievements.
Rishikesh
The Bharatiya Janata Party will organise 12 programmes during a month-long Seva Sankalp campaign from 17 September to 17 October. The initiative will focus on service, social concerns and the vision of a developed India, according to Rishikesh BJP district president Rajendra Tadiyal, who outlined the programme at a media briefing in Bhaniawala.
Bageshwar
A district‑level workshop in Bageshwar outlined the BJP’s Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, chaired by district president Prabha Garhya. The program, starting Sept 16–17 on birthdays of the CM and PM respectively, targets a month of service activities across all levels up to Oct 17.
Rudrapur
In Rudrapur, BJP officials including Mayor Vikas Sharma and MLA Shiv Arora led a demonstration against what they called Congress-led anti-people policies. Demonstrators gathered outside the district collectorate on National Highway, and a protester-turned-chant targeted Congress. Several senior party workers and representatives joined, signaling continued efforts to voice public discontent against the party.
