As part of their demonstration, BJP cadres set a Rahul Gandhi effigy on fire to express their opposition to the Congress leadership. The event saw participation from Rampal Singh, state minister; Uttam Dutta, the district president of the party; Dhireendra Mishra, and other senior BJP office-bearers, along with members of the Youth Morcha and a large number of elected representatives.
BJP leaders asserted that, in their view, Congress policies harm the public and pledged to continue raising the people’s voice against these policies. The demonstration reflected ongoing BJP efforts to mobilize opposition to the Congress at the local level.
