The department is also working to complete approximately 350 houses that remain unfinished under PM Awas Yojana 1.0 in Uttarakhand. The Centre has set 30 September as the deadline for completing these homes.

Urban Development Department officials have instructed all concerned local bodies to finish the remaining construction within the prescribed time. This work is separate from the newly approved PM Awas 2.0 houses.
