In Roorkee, a Teachers’ Day event was held at Lions School Padli Gurjar where twelve teachers were honored with certificates from Lions International. The ceremony was inaugurated by Lions Club president Preeti Mendiratta and School Chairman Dr. P.K. Gupta, who laid a wreath at the portrait of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The program emphasized the teachers’ contributions and their important role in nation-building. Lions member Yash Narang spoke about the significant part teachers play in shaping society and the country.
