In addition to the compactor, the DM has directed the installation of segregation boxes on waste vehicles and a GPS system. The objective is to ensure separation of wet and dry waste at the point of collection, improving transparency in the waste-collection process. The AIS GPS integration will allow precise monitoring of routes and collection times for the waste-collection vehicles, enhancing accountability and efficiency.
