NSUI sweeps Gopeshwar PG College polls as ABVP wins Jyotirmath and Aryan Group takes Pokhari.

NSUI candidates secured a decisive victory at Gopeshwar PG College in Chamoli, winning all the listed student union positions against ABVP nominees. The result was announced after counting by chief election officer Dr Anurag Sharma.

Gopeshwar is described as Chamoli district’s largest government college. Of 2285 registered votes, 1590 were cast in the election.

NSUI’s Kishan Singh won the president’s with 1114 votes. ABVP candidate Kapil Negi received 459 votes, leaving Kishan with a winning margin of 655 votes.

Aditya Negi won the vice-president’s position for NSUI with 978 votes. ABVP’s Saurabh Panwar polled 512 votes.

The secretary’s went to NSUI candidate Sohan Lal, who received 936 votes. ABVP nominee Pawan Kumar secured 615 votes.

NSUI’s Tanisha won the joint secretary’s position with 814 votes. ABVP candidate Divya received 663 votes. For treasurer, NSUI’s Apeksha secured 835 votes, while ABVP’s Priyanka received 396 votes.

Results from Pokhari and Jyotirmath

At PG College Pokhari, 319 of 381 registered voters participated. The Aryan Group won all the listed positions, according to the declared results.

Rahul Singh of the Aryan Group defeated ABVP’s Shivam Pant for president by 38 votes. Divya won the vice-president’s , while Priyanshu Negi defeated ABVP’s Akhil Singh for university representative.

Aryan Group candidate Suraj Singh won the secretary’s position against ABVP’s Komal. Priyanshi took the treasurer’s after defeating ABVP candidate Mehak. Chief election officer Dr Yogesh Bhatt announced the Pokhari results.

At PG College Jyotirmath, ABVP candidates won the president, vice-president, joint secretary and treasurer positions listed in the results.

Nawal Kishore won the presidency with 118 votes, compared with 83 votes for Vishal Bharti. Saina secured the vice-president’s with 114 votes, while Shikha Dimri received 67 votes.

Simran won the joint secretary’s position and Diya was elected treasurer. The university representative’s went to NSUI candidate Sumit, who received 84 votes. Ram Singh finished second with 81 votes.

NSUI wins listed s at Nandanagar

NSUI candidates also performed strongly at PG College Nandanagar. Khushi won the president’s with 101 votes.

The reported winners included Diksha as vice-president, Anamika as secretary and Ajay Singh as university representative. The available results do not provide vote totals for these 3 positions.

The 4 colleges therefore recorded different outcomes: NSUI swept the listed positions at Gopeshwar, the Aryan Group won at Pokhari, ABVP took most listed s at Jyotirmath, and NSUI won the reported positions at Nandanagar.
