A leopard was spotted along the roadside near Dharasu Band in Uttarkashi late on September 4, around 11 PM. Passersby halted their vehicles to record the animal, which was resting close to the road as seen in video footage. Viewers kept a safe distance while filming from inside their vehicles.
Earlier this area had reported leopard attacks on 4 people, and there have been additional leopard-related incidents in the Devi Dhar region near Dundha. This history has already put local residents on edge, and the latest sighting has amplified fear about moving around at night.
