Bhageshwar, on Teacher’s Day, a legal awareness camp was organized inside the Pandit Badri Datt Pandey campus by the District Legal Services Authority. The program focused on cybercrime, social media fraud, online fraud, and the legal rights of students. The camp was inaugurated by the authority’s secretary, Anita Kumari, who also unveiled a Legal Aid Clinic on the campus under the National Legal Services Authority framework. She stressed that students should be aware of their rights and the law alongside their studies, noting that proper legal information can help prevent many problems.
Advocate Trilok Chandra Joshi served as the panel speaker, educating students about the rise of cybercrime and online fraud. He outlined preventive measures for frauds conducted through fake calls, messages, and links and advised avoiding clicking suspicious links or sharing bank details with unknown individuals. Joshi encouraged immediate help in case of cybercrime and provided the NalSA helpline number 15100 for assistance.
