Haldwani witnessed a tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan on Teacher’s Day as Congress workers paid respects to the former president and renowned educationist by placing a flower garland on his portrait. Inder Pal Arya, who has taken charge as the Uttarakhand state secretary and leads the SC department in the Nainital district, spoke about Dr. Radhakrishnan’s unparalleled contributions to education. He emphasized that teachers play a foundational role in shaping society and the nation, imparting more than classroom knowledge and instilling values, discipline, and a proper outlook on life. Arya extended heartfelt Teacher’s Day greetings to the teaching community across the country and the state.
