A Himalayan Services helicopter travelling from Jhala in Uttarkashi to Sirsi helipad made an emergency landing at the Agastyamuni sports ground in Rudraprayag at around 2:00 PM on 6 October 2026. Disaster management officials said all 6 passengers were safe, while relevant teams began necessary action at the site.
