Union Home Minister Amit Shah said 63 Uttarakhand projects involving foundation stones and inaugurations were carried out for Rs 1,508 crore. He also announced honours for citizens and children, while highlighting claims of 50 per cent GSDP growth since 2022, a 40 per cent rise in per capita income and industrial projects worth Rs 1 lakh crore.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami said a supplementary budget of more than Rs 7,000 crore has raised the state’s total budget outlay to approximately Rs 1.19 lakh crore. Following a recommendation at the Nainital municipal board meeting, development projects worth Rs 5 lakh each are planned for every ward. Kotdwar
A slope near Chunadhara released debris and large boulders after heavy rain, blocking the Pauni (Pauri) National Highway for about an hour and creating a dangerous mud-cleared zone. Traffic was restored after clearance, but ongoing rockfall kept the area hazardous as officials monitor the situation and assess damage to nearby facilities and beautification works.
