Pratapnagar’s Sameer finished first in the junior boys’ 600-metre race at Tehri’s district-level autumn sports competition for primary education. Narendranagar’s Aniket took second place in the event.
The competition was held at Bauraड़ी Stadium, where district-level school athletes competed across track and field events. District Panchayat Vice-President Man Singh Rautela inaugurated the programme on its second day.
Rautela told participants that consistent preparation is essential for taking part in any competition. Officials and elected representatives also attended the programme.

The primary girls’ long jump was won by Ishitа of Devprayag block, while Anjali of Kirtinagar finished second. In the primary boys’ category, Anoop of Chamba secured first place and Aarav of Devprayag came second.
Shivam of Chamba block led the junior boys’ long jump. Narendranagar’s Ankush finished behind him in second place. In the junior girls’ event, Kirtinagar’s Akshita took the top position and Anshika of Chamba was runner-up.
The junior girls’ shot put title went to Manavi of Devprayag. Anshika of Thauldhar placed second. In the junior girls’ discus throw, Bhilangana’s Priyanshi finished first and Bhilangana’s Aarushi took second place.
Thauldhar’s Adarsh won the boys’ discus throw, while Ayush Panwar of Chamba block finished second.
