The arrest took place after officers flagged the rider and conducted a search, leading to the recovery of 24.4 grams of smack from the vehicle. The accused, identified as Mohammad Wasid, hails from Amlapur Gajrula in Bithri, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, and was traveling near Linthiyauda when apprehended. During questioning, he confessed to purchasing the substance from Nanakmata before attempting to transport it toward the border area.
