170‑foot Bailey bridge completed in 5 days at Kulagad, restoring Tanakpur–Tawaghat highway link after 16 days
A 170‑foot Bailey bridge was erected in Kulagad Nala on the Tanakpur‑Tawaghat highway, reconnecting Adi Kailash, Manasarovar and Darma valleys with the China frontier. The bridge, built by the Border Roads Organisation, ends a 16‑day disruption caused by a landslide and debris, and enables all road traffic to resume.
