Almora villagers protest poor Bakhli-Kheeda, Taal roads; resurfacing promised from 15 October
Residents in Chaukutiya’s Bakhli-Kheeda and Taal areas held a road protest on Friday, citing potholes, waterlogging and safety risks. Public Works Department officials and Tehsildar Mohit Devpa inspected the routes and assured them that pothole repairs would begin soon, followed by resurfacing from 15 October.
