Jamrani Dam project gains pace as 644-metre and 600-metre tunnels divert Gaula River near Haldwani
The Jamrani Dam project near Haldwani has entered a crucial construction phase, with lining work beginning inside 2 diversion tunnels. A temporary cofferdam, designed to keep the main dam site dry, is also expected to be completed in the current financial year before the Gaula River is routed through the tunnels during the coming monsoon.
