Uttarakhand teachers Manisha Nigam and Gabbar Singh Bisht win National Teachers Award; President honors them at Rashtrapati Bhavan
National Teachers' Day event in New Delhi saw the National Teachers Award 2026 bestowed at the Science Bhavan. The President, Droupadi Murmu, felicitated Manisha Nigam from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University and Gabbar Singh Bisht, headmaster of Government Senior Secondary School Musyakhanda in Pauri, for their outstanding contributions to higher and school education respectively.
