Haridwar food safety team acts against open buckwheat flour, destroys 13 kg from 2 outlets
The food safety department inspected establishments and a supply vehicle in Haridwar’s SIDCUL area on Tuesday after receiving confidential information. Officials collected buckwheat flour samples from 2 businesses and destroyed 13 kg of open flour. Officials are preparing court proceedings against both traders over alleged unlicensed operations and missing manufacturing and expiry dates.
