ASI digs deeper at ancient Kashipur site to trace 2,000-year history and identify its origins
Excavations at an ancient site in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, are examining structures linked to a cultural sequence spanning approximately 2,000 years. Dr. Mohan Chandra Joshi of the ASI Dehradun Circle said researchers have found a small Shunga-Kushan-period brick and a circular brick structure that may be a well.
