Nainital Police has issued a traffic plan for the weekend from 24 to 26 October and urged people to check the arrangements before leaving home.
Traffic Superintendent Dr Jagdish Chandra appealed to motorists to use the designated routes and follow the prescribed diversion plan during the period. The advisory is intended to help manage traffic and reduce the risk of congestion.
What motorists should do
Police have asked drivers to follow traffic rules and cooperate with personnel managing movement on the roads. Travellers should check the applicable route and diversion arrangements before starting their journey.
The available advisory does not list the individual routes or diversion points. Motorists should therefore rely on the designated plan issued by Nainital Police rather than choosing routes that may conflict with traffic management arrangements.
Following the instructions can help police maintain smoother traffic movement during the weekend. The advisory applies from 24 to 26 October.
Conclusion
Nainital Police has asked weekend travellers to follow the designated traffic routes and diversion plan, obey road rules and assist police in preventing congestion.
