Congress MP Kumari Selja said former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat would present his position after she wrote to him regarding his yatra.
Speaking in Delhi, Selja said, “Party programs are going on.” She added that Rawat was expected to consider the party’s position and the views expressed by the high command before presenting his side.
Selja said the party would listen to Rawat’s explanation and then decide the next course of action. She also rejected the suggestion of personal displeasure, saying the Congress has a system and that she had no personal agenda.
She added that no one else should pursue a personal agenda in the matter.
