Delhi Police’s North District unit has arrested 5 accused in connection with a ₹19.5 lakh robbery case, following an interstate investigation across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, according to the police.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of DCP North District Niharika Bhatt, IPS. Investigators used CCTV footage, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) analysis and technical surveillance to trace the accused.
Recoveries and investigation
Police said ₹9.90 lakh in allegedly looted cash was recovered. A new iPhone 17 Pro, which investigators said had been purchased with robbery proceeds, was also seized.
The victims were allegedly tracked from Kucha Ghasi Ram, according to the police account. Authorities said teams are continuing raids to arrest the remaining accused and recover the outstanding loot.
