Vishnu Kumar, 25, was found dead in a room at the 46th Battalion PAC campus in Rudrapur on Sunday morning, Diwali day. Police inspected the site, completed the inquest proceedings and sent the body for -mortem. Officials said the cause of death will be known after the report.

Dehradun Police arrested Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya’s husband Girdhari Lal Sahu and his nephew Satendra Rathore in connection with an ongoing investigation. Sahu denied fleeing to Nepal, called the arrest a conspiracy and said he was innocent. A court sent both men to judicial custody as police examined an alleged audio recording.
