Rain is expected across 10 Uttarakhand districts, while the remaining areas may stay dry. Haldwani experienced sudden showers, strong winds and extensive waterlogging on Wednesday. From 25 September, several districts may face heavy rain, lightning and winds reaching 40-50 km/hour, with the risk of landslides and road disruption increasing in hill areas.

Rainwater has turned a road in Laxmanpur, within Vikasnagar municipality, into a difficult route for pedestrians and 2-wheeler users. Residents say poor drainage causes the same problem after every spell of rain and have sought immediate action. The municipal chairman said the sewer-line agency has been instructed to address the waterlogging.
Khatima
Intermittent rain that began on Saturday continued through Sunday, leaving several parts of Khatima waterlogged. The worst conditions were reported along Sitarganj Road between the Kotwali and Kanjabag crossing, where submerged footpaths, overflowing drains and dirty water disrupted access for shopkeepers, customers and nearby residents.
