Haldwani’s Durga Colony water samples pass tests after dirty-water complaint; supply remains closed
Water samples collected from 3 homes in Haldwani’s Durga Colony showed no bacterial growth, according to the Government Medical College’s microbiology department. The testing followed complaints of dirty water and the death of a local girl from jaundice. The colony’s supply line has been cleaned, but water service remains suspended and 10 families are relying on tankers.
