BJP MLA Vinod Chamoli has objected to Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s alleged description of Uttarakhand residents as “infiltrators”. Chamoli said political differences with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were understandable, but argued that people living on either side of the Uttarakhand-Uttar Pradesh division remain citizens of their respective states.
