ITBP says DBT-backed MoU is benefiting residents of Uttarakhand’s border villages
ITBP Northern Frontier Inspector General Manu Maharaj said an agreement involving the Uttarakhand Cooperative, Animal Husbandry Department and ITBP has benefited residents of Vibrant Villages. He said direct payments to beneficiaries’ bank accounts have improved transparency and removed complicated procurement procedures under the scheme.
