Uttarakhand rain shuts Char Dham and Valley of Flowers; 136 climbers stranded, one death reported
Persistent rain disrupted Uttarakhand’s pilgr, tourism and air services on Sunday, with the Char Dham routes and Valley of Flowers closed for a second day. Landslides repeatedly blocked highways, a bus carrying 20 passengers became trapped and 2 flights were diverted to Delhi as authorities warned of more heavy rain.
