Roadways staff strike halts bus services across Kumaon over 6 unresolved demands
Roadways employees in Kumaon have announced a one-day work boycott on Friday, affecting bus operations across the region’s 8 depots. The Uttarakhand Roadways Employees’ Union says more than 1,000 drivers and conductors may participate, while the dispute could escalate into an indefinite strike from 30 October if management does not act.
