UPCL, PITCUL told to strengthen finances, clear dues and prepare for uninterrupted winter power
Officials at a review meeting on UPCL and PITCUL were directed to improve the corporations’ finances, clear outstanding liabilities on schedule and accelerate pending payments. The instructions also cover government electricity bills, smart-meter conversion, inter-state asset settlements, development work and uninterrupted power supply during the upcoming winter.
