Uttarakhand records 9% excess monsoon rain, but Bageshwar gets 163% more and Pauri 40% less
Uttarakhand received 1269.2 mm of rain between 1 June and 30 September, exceeding the statewide normal of 1162.7 mm by 9%. The district figures, however, show sharp variation: Bageshwar recorded 163% excess rainfall, while Pauri Garhwal faced a 40% deficit during the 4-month monsoon period.
