Haridwar Gangnahar shutdown to affect West UP, NCR as Diwali-night water supply restart is planned
Water flow in the Gangnahar from Haridwar will stop from Tuesday night for annual cleaning, repairs and maintenance. The Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department says supply will resume on Diwali night after work is completed, while parts of western Uttar Pradesh and the NCR may face pressure on drinking water and irrigation arrangements.
