Roorkee Congress threatens street protest against proposed 100-rupee user charge
The Roorkee Mahanagar Congress has opposed the Municipal Corporation’s proposed 100-rupee user charge and warned that it could launch a street movement if the plan proceeds. The announcement came during a membership programme where several sanitation workers joined the party under city Congress district president Rajendra Chaudhary.
