Uttarakhand Begins Survey of Illegal Construction, Plans Sealing and Demolition Action
Uttarakhand has launched a coordinated campaign against unauthorised construction, illegal plotting and commercial activity in residential buildings. Authorities will conduct surveys, issue notices and proceed with sealing or demolition after due process. The drive has already produced around 2200 notices in Dehradun and more than 570 in Haridwar.
