Haldwani cyber fraud: ₹5.29 lakh taken from 2 bank accounts; police freeze receiving accounts
Cyber fraudsters allegedly withdrew ₹1.64 lakh from Pawan Joshi’s account and ₹3.65 lakh from Mahesh Chandra’s account in Haldwani. Police registered a case on 2 November after reports through the cybercrime portal and said the bank accounts receiving the money had been frozen.
