Forest officer injured in sharp-weapon attack during raid on alleged timber warehouse in Bazpur
A joint forest department team was attacked during a late-night raid at a warehouse in Bazpur’s Pahadi Colony, where officials suspected illegal storage of teak and khair wood. Forest sub-inspector Surendra Singh suffered head and hand injuries, while the alleged attackers fled after police reached the scene. Authorities said his condition was out of danger.
