Didihat water crisis: 15,000 residents struggle for 20 days, threaten indefinite protest
A malfunctioning pump in the Thal pumping scheme has reduced water reaching Didihat to 3–4 MLD against daily demand of 7 MLD. Residents say the shortage has continued for 20 days, forcing them to book vehicles to collect water from natural sources. They have warned of an indefinite protest if supplies are not restored within one week.
