Haldwani stray dog attack leaves more than 25 injured as civic response stalls
More than 25 people were bitten by a stray dog near Sindhi Chauraha and the Women’s Hospital in Haldwani on Friday evening. The injured reached Base Hospital for anti-rabies injections, while residents criticised the alleged delay after calls to the Municipal Corporation and the Animal Husbandry Department produced no immediate rescue response.
