Rudrapur spice checks find 14 substandard samples as Diwali food safety drive targets open sellers
A mobile food laboratory collected 84 samples from sweet shops and the vegetable market in Rudrapur ahead of Diwali. All 45 sweets samples met standards, but 14 of 39 spice samples were found substandard, prompting officials to seal them and send them for laboratory confirmation before further action.
