Rudraprayag police seized 131 bottles of illegal liquor during a checking operation at Gaurikund barrier on 25 September. The consignment, packed in 11 cartons, was being carried on 3 animals from the Sonprayag side. one person was arrested, while 2 other handlers escaped after leaving their animals behind.
