Haldwani’s Banbhoolpura to get 350 km of armoured cable after 108 power-theft cases found
Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited plans to spend about ₹3 crore in Haldwani’s Banbhoolpura to curb electricity theft. The project will cover connections from poles to meters with armoured cable, while smart meters outside homes will allow online monitoring of consumption and improve reading transparency.
