Residents of Simli and surrounding villages have begun a padyatra to Dehradun, demanding a base hospital at Simli. Led by the Base Sangharsh Samiti, the campaign follows outreach across more than 50 villages and seeks treatment closer to home rather than referrals over long mountain roads.
