Doba villagers build temporary wooden bridge over Shipra after long wait for official crossing
Residents of Doba village in Nainital’s Betalghat block have built a temporary wooden bridge across the Shipra River with their own cooperation. They say repeated memoranda to government and administrative officials brought no construction work, while children and elderly residents face difficulty crossing the river, especially before the rains.
