Uttarkashi medical college protest reaches day 45 as committee calls October 2 mahapanchayat
The campaign for a medical college in Uttarkashi continued on its 45th day, alongside the 29th day of a phased hunger strike and the 59th day of satyagraha. Organisers said a district-wide mahapanchayat will be held on October 2 to decide the movement’s next course and warned of intensification without government action.
