Jeolikote schools reopen after 45 days as officials order stricter water and sanitation checks
Schools across Jeolikote in Nainital reopened on Monday, 45 days after an outbreak of waterborne illnesses. Block chief Dr Harish Bisht inspected facilities, raised concerns over dirty water tanks and toilets, and directed departments to ensure safe drinking water, sanitation, health monitoring and timely completion of corrective work.
