Uttarakhand Supplementary Budget Sets ₹1,100 Crore for Paddy, Wheat Procurement and Rural Growth
Uttarakhand’s 2026-27 supplementary budget proposes ₹1,100 crore under the Annapurti scheme to buy paddy and wheat from farmers. It also allocates funds for climate-resilient rainfed agriculture, food processing, cooperative support, pensions, trout, beekeeping and cow shelters, linking farm production with rural livelihoods.
