Haldwani puts 82 schools on the rocket-science track with student launches and space contests
The first day of Akashian Competition-2026 brought students from 82 schools to Haldwani’s Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium in Gaulapar. Participants designed and launched rockets while exploring propulsion, pressure and aerodynamics, with college-level solid-fuel, multistage and reusable rocketry events scheduled for 5 October.
